{"id":243644,"date":"2017-01-03T06:06:19","date_gmt":"2017-01-02T20:06:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=243644"},"modified":"2017-01-03T06:06:19","modified_gmt":"2017-01-02T20:06:19","slug":"probable-cause-found-vs-2-ice-suspects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/probable-cause-found-vs-2-ice-suspects\/","title":{"rendered":"Probable cause found vs 2 \u2018ice\u2019 suspects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Superior Court has found probable cause to charge two men who were arrested recently by CNMI Drug Enforcement Task Force officers for alleged trafficking of methamphetamine or \u201cice\u201d and conspiracy.<\/p>\n<p>Associate Judge Joseph Camacho ordered Fei Long Zheng, 25, and Jiang Feng, 30, both Chinese nationals, to answer the charges.<\/p>\n<p>Police detective Roque Camacho testified in Zheng\u2019s case, while police detective Rudolph Sablan spoke in court in Feng\u2019s case.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant public defender Tillman Clark is counsel for Zheng, while assistant public defender Nancy Dominski is counsel for Feng.<\/p>\n<p>Arraignment will be on Jan. 9, 2017, at 9am. Both were remanded into the custody of Corrections.<\/p>\n<p>The judge earlier imposed a $100,000 cash bail on each defendant.<\/p>\n<p>In Zheng\u2019s case, police claimed that a cooperating defendant was able to buy $690 worth of \u201cice\u201d from him last Dec. 10 outside a house in Garapan.
