(Erwin Encinares)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Thirty years; three lucky winners.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s how Saipan Computer Services commemorated its 30th anniversary this year\u2014with a raffle yesterday that saw the company giving away three Apple 27\u201d iMac with 5K retina display.<\/p>\n<p>The winners of the iMac are Peter Arriola Natalie Suda, and Frances Borja, all of whom were not present during the raffle draw.<\/p>\n<p>Nine major prize winners got a Polaroid mobile printer, a Bose Companion 5 speaker system, a Canon EOS Rebel T5 SLR camera, a Samsung 18\u201d tablet, a GoPro Hero 4 Black camera, a Google 10.2 Pixel tablet, a Lenovo notebook computer, a Cyberpower ultra gaming computer, and a Microsoft Surface Pro 12.3\u201d tablet.<\/p>\n<p>The major prizes amounted to a total of $18,000, according to business development director Jerry Tiu.<\/p>\n<p>SCS also gave 20 winners 12 mugs and eight umbrellas as a consolation prize. <\/p>\n<p>Tiu offered his gratitude to the CNMI, saying the company would like to give back to the customers that have been with SCS through the good and bad.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you to the CNMI for [SCS\u2019] first 30 years. We hope that the type of service attitude that we have provided will keep you coming,\u201d said Tiu. \u201cWe will try to have a bigger and better raffle promo next year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tiu addressed the winners by congratulating them and inviting them to the next raffle, scheduled for 2018.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo the winners, you might win again,\u201d said Tiu.<\/p>\n<p>Preparation for the raffle draw started about four months ago, he said. <\/p>\n<p>SCS, a Saipan-based computer-oriented corporation that retails, service, and maintains computers, turned 30 last Aug. 8, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>SCS also offers the same services to residents of Tinian, Rota, and Guam occasionally, further highlighting their motto, \u201cService beyond the sale.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thirty years; three lucky winners.
