(Contributed Photo)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Two McDonald\u2019s Saipan officers recently completed a business management course at the Hamburger University in Oak Brook, Illinois.<\/p>\n<p>McDonald\u2019s Saipan general manager Joe Ayuyu Jr. and Jocelyn Asistores finished what is called the General Managers Business Leadership Capstone.<\/p>\n<p>In order to be able to attend the course, a manager must be able to meet certain milestones within their branches of management in all areas of the restaurant. <\/p>\n<p>The one-week general management course, open to McDonald\u2019s employees, \u201ctechnically certifies us to be general managers,\u201d said Ayuyu.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy favorite thing about the class is learning about other people\u2019s experiences,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>The university is directly affiliated with McDonald\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>Ayuyu said he learned a lot because \u201cwe are all in a very similar setting. McDonald\u2019s is very well known for uniformity. Asistores and I brought our experience from way out here [on] Saipan,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Ayuyu said he was able to pick up a few ideas that have been implemented in other McDonald\u2019s branches around the world and is looking to apply those that he deems are effective to the local scene.<\/p>\n<p>The Hamburger University focuses on restaurant management.
