He took the lead after pitching 15 innings in the BSI Aces\u2019 nine games and allowing only five runs. Papa Bears\u2019 Bob Lizama moved up to second with his 2.63 ERA (eight innings pitched and three runs allowed), while former leader Melvin Sakisat dropped to third with his 2.96 ERA (26 innings pitched and 11 runs allowed).<\/p>\n<p>Completing the leaderboard are GSM Masters\u2019 Tony Flores (3.05 ERA), Old Stars\u2019 Bill Camacho (3.87), GMS Masters\u2019 John Diaz (3.90), Old Stars\u2019 Darren Flores (4.67), Saisei\u2019s Steve Igisair (5.25), and Rubak\u2019s Donald Pangelinan (6.00). <\/p>\n<p>In the batting race, Acosta\u2019s .618 is still the best in the field. He went 21-for-34 at bat to lead 14 others. The Old Stars\u2019 Jess Mesa is at second place and the only other batter to average at least .600. He was 18-for-30 at the plate.<\/p>\n<p>GSM Masters\u2019 John Terlaje (.571) and Jerry Ayuyu (.538), and the Old Stars\u2019 Manny Cabrera (.531) rounded out the Top 5.<\/p>\n<p>Also on the leaderboard were BSI Aces\u2019 Reno Celis (.483), Old Stars\u2019 Randall Aguon (.480), Saisei\u2019s Taylor Germance (.471), Papa Bears\u2019 Jojo Attao (.444), Rubak\u2019s Mabel Ngirngemelas (.444) and Theo Minor (.423), Old Stars\u2019 George David (.419), GSM Masters\u2019 Mark Flores (.417) and Ben Hocog (.389), and BSI Aces\u2019 Joe Tenorio (.385).<\/p>\n<p>The batting leaders were based on 24 or more times at bat.<\/p>\n<p>In other statistics, the Old Stars\u2019 James Fleming and Walter Macaranas are ahead in runs scored with apiece; George David in doubles (6); and Jess Mesa in RBI (19). Fleming also has the most triples so far with two, tying Ben Mesa. Bill Camacho is on top of the most strikeouts race with his 36.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Masters league also has a new leader in the Old Stars, who improved to a 7-2 record. Erstwhile pacesetter BSI Aces slid to second with its 6-2 record after losing to the GSM Masters last week. The GSM Masters are ranked third with their 6-3 card, followed by Papa Bears (3-5), Saisei (3-6), and Rubak (1-8).
