Ching said the brotherhood raised the money during their regular meetings. Reyes\u2019 father, Pete, an architect at the Department of Public Works, is a member of Emon Lodge No. 179.<\/p>\n<p>Ching said they plan to raise $1,000 more in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>He asked everyone in the community to pray for Paolo\u2019s health and that he wakes up from the coma.<\/p>\n<p>Arnel Metran, incoming junior warden of the local freemason group, said he\u2019s also praying for Paolo\u2019s quick recovery. <\/p>\n<p>Paolo is a sophomore in the U.S. Air Force Academy and academy parents, days after his accident, set up an account at the crowdfunding website, www.youcaring.com.<\/p>\n<p>The site also provided an update of Paolo\u2019s condition and it read: \u201cThe family of C3C Paolo Reyes would like to thank everyone for their concern and well wishes for their son. Paolo remains in a deep coma with no change in his condition. He is still in the ICU. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As of 7:10pm yesterday, 605 donors have given nearly $36,000 to the online fundraising effort.
