They decided to give us the Tacoma truck with the title and additional free main maintenance through the life of the vehicle. That’s a huge donation. We’re incredibly grateful and we didn’t expect this. This is nothing new for AK. They’ve been supporting us for over 20 years. They’re a long-time supporter of Red Cross,” he said.

Atkins Kroll Saipan president and general manager Douglas Brennan said the company is happy to donate the car, knowing it would be put to good use.

“With the expiration of the lease, our president decided to donate three units to the Red Cross. They now own it. In addition to that we’re giving a Service 4 Life maintenance package,” he said.

“The Red Cross has done such a great job helping the people of the island specially during Soudelor. They’re still helping out. Right after the storm we donated the use of the original trucks so they could use it to move water and other supplies around and help with emergency relief,” Brennan added.

In 2014, as part of Atkins Kroll’s centennial celebration, it donated a 2015 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner double cab pickup truck on a two-year lease to the local chapter of the Red Cross. The lease agreement also included routine maintenance.

When the lease expired in December, Atkins Kroll decided to donate the ownership of the vehicle to the Red Cross. Two other trucks were donated to the Red Cross in Guam.

Including the Service 4 Life packages, Atkins Kroll’s total donation is valued at $84,000.

Atkins Kroll Saipan officially donated yesterday the pickup truck it leased for free to the…

[4
9939,559,235,6333
post-245599","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-local-news","tag-atkins-kroll-saipan","tag-red-cross","tag-san-jose","tag-typhoon-soudelor
["GET
