{"id":24603,"date":"2012-07-21T06:25:44","date_gmt":"2012-07-21T06:25:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newspaper.ctsi-logistics.com\/?p=24603"},"modified":"2012-07-21T06:25:44","modified_gmt":"2012-07-21T06:25:44","slug":"woman-who-beat-up-another-gets-60-day-sentence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/woman-who-beat-up-another-gets-60-day-sentence\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman who beat up another gets 60-day sentence"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>A woman who, while drunk, entered a house in Koblerville and beat up a woman, was slapped with a 60-day prison term.<\/div>\n<p>Lydia Omengkar, 36, pleaded guilty to assault and battery on Thursday afternoon as part of a plea deal.<\/p>\n<p>Superior Court Associate Judge Joseph N. Camacho sentenced Omengkar to a year in prison with the first 60 days served without parole, and the remaining prison term is suspended.<\/p>\n<p>Omengkar will be placed on probation for one year after completing the jail term.<\/p>\n<p>Camacho granted Omengkar&#8217;s request to start serving her sentence on Aug. 13, 2012 at 4pm.<\/p>\n<p>Omengkar was required to pay a $250 fine, $100 probation fee plus court costs.
