The 15-year-old now has 120 singles ranking points and 65 in doubles for a combined 136.25 ranking points. She added 15 markers to her doubles tally after making it into the semifinals in the Wilson Tennis Canterbury ITF—a Grade 4 event.

Lee, in a message sent to Saipan Tribune early this week, said the results of her games in the three ITF Juniors tournaments in Australia were pretty good.

“I believe that both my quarterfinal and semifinal singles appearances in the singles event were pretty good results for the beginning of the year,” Lee said, whose is now in Fiji, training in the ITF/OTF Pacific Oceania Regional Training Center in Lautoka.

“I hope to reach the Top 300 by the end of the year,” she added.

The CNMI player’s chances to make it to the Top 300 is strong as she is scheduled to compete in ranking tournaments on Saipan and Guam this summer. She will also have a couple of events in Fiji. Lee’s ultimate goal before she finishes her junior career is to barge into the Top 200.

Earning a spot in the Top 200 would make her a hot commodity in Division 1 of the National Collegiate Athletics Association and she still has more than two years to hit that target.

[5
1814,164,165,38
post-246217","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sports","tag-carol-lee","tag-fiji","tag-new-zealand","tag-saipan-tribune
["GET
