(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Even churches are not safe from burglars these days.<\/p>\n<p>The Grace Christian Assembly church in San Antonio was burglarized over the weekend and several items and coins worth over $4,000 were stolen. <\/p>\n<p>The Department of Public Safety has yet to release information about the burglary. <\/p>\n<p>Alain Nunez, a pastor of Grace Christian Assembly, confirmed with Saipan Tribune yesterday that he discovered the break-in when he went to the church on Saturday at 6am for morning prayers.<\/p>\n<p>Nunez said he noticed that a ladder was in the middle of the church while a monitor and projector were missing.<\/p>\n<p>Stolen were four speakers, two projectors, an Acer desktop computer, a 24-inch computer monitor, a 32-inch Panasonic flatscreen TV, an Alvarez acoustic guitar, food in packages, and a children\u2019s piggy bank containing $100 to $200 in coins.<\/p>\n<p>The burglar\/s gained entry by detaching the window grills in the women\u2019s restroom at the back of the church. The same suspect\/s used the same restroom\u2019s window as the exit point. The church\u2019s door has double locks.<\/p>\n<p>Nunez said police responded and investigated the incident.<\/p>\n<p>He said the owner of the land where the church is located saw a group of teenagers hanging around on Friday at about 8:30pm and told them to leave.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Even churches are not safe from burglars these days.
