Marianas Insurance Co., Ltd. is offering a $5,000 hole-in-one prize for the 14th Annual NMC Foundation Open golf tournament on March 18, 2017.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor the past several years, Marianas Insurance has supported the NMC Foundation\u2019s efforts to raise funds for student programs, facilities, and services,\u201d said Marianas Insurance general manager Lillian S. Cabrera. \u201cWe are excited to be a part of this year\u2019s tournament again and wish all the golfers luck!\u201d<\/p>\n
The NMC Foundation is composed of volunteers committed to expanding higher education opportunities for the people of the CNMI. The golf tournament is the NMC Foundation\u2019s signature event that raises funds to support NMC\u2019s academic programs and services.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are thankful for Marianas Insurance\u2019s unwavering support of the college,\u201d said NMC president Dr. Carmen Fernandez.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe hole-in-one prizes donated by Marianas Insurance as well as the other prizes also worth thousands of dollars fuels the excitement of the event,\u201d said Mary Tenorio, NMC Foundation board chair.<\/p>\n
The 14th Annual NMC Foundation Open golf tournament will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Saipan Laolao Bay Golf & Resort (east course). Show time is at 6am and the shotgun start will be at 7am. The tournament will follow a medal play format.<\/p>\n
First place winners in the men\u2019s Championship, A, B, C, Senior, and Ladies Flights will each receive $500 cash, while $300 and $200 will go to the second and third place finishers. <\/p>\n
