{"id":248372,"date":"2017-03-16T06:06:31","date_gmt":"2017-03-15T20:06:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=248372"},"modified":"2017-03-16T06:06:31","modified_gmt":"2017-03-15T20:06:31","slug":"rotary-members-learn-benefits-medi-spa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/rotary-members-learn-benefits-medi-spa\/","title":{"rendered":"Rotary members learn benefits of medi spa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You may not know it but Saipan now hosts a medi spa.<\/p>\n<p>Called Thrive, it is located above Paradise Dental Center along Middle Road in Gualo Rai, and the first on Saipan<\/p>\n<p>A medi spa differs because it offers more than what a day spa provides, according to Donna Krum, who explained all these during the Rotary Club of Saipan meeting yesterday at the Hyatt Regency Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>A day spa offers facials, massages, waxing, etc. A medi spa, on the other hand, offers treatment like chelation therapy, hangover cure, jetlag cure, cool sculpting, and botox treatments.  <\/p>\n<p>Krum, who saw an entrepreneurial opportunity to start this business on Saipan, said that there aren\u2019t any medi spas on island. <em>(Kimberly A.
