As part of the largest fast food chain in the world, it will mark the occasion with promos and goodies for customers on its special day. <\/p>\n<p>McDonald\u2019s would be offering a free special edition McDonald\u2019s tumbler for purchases worth more than $24. For children, a reusable Happy Meal cup is available for $0.50.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cItems are available while supplies last and are redeemable on our anniversary date of March 18 only,\u201d said executive assistant to the president, Mable Ayuyu.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s 24th anniversary means a lot to the Ayuyus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve reached another milestone and we\u2019d like to thank the community for their continued patronage,\u201d said owner\/operator Marcia Ayuyu.<\/p>\n<p>Mable Ayuyu said the anniversary \u201cgives us an opportunity to thank our valued customers for their support.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt has been another year that we\u2019ve contributed and invested in our community,\u201d added Mable Ayuyu.<\/p>\n<p>As the community continues to avail of McDonald\u2019s services, the more the community supports education, she pointed out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you visit us at McDonald\u2019s, you are helping us support education, support sporting events that keep our kids active, and support non-profit organizations that provide humanitarian services to our community,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the years, McDonald\u2019s had hosted school events such as McTeacher\u2019s Night. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve also donated to schools over the 24 years that we\u2019ve been in business,\u201d said Marcia Ayuyu. \u201cWe made major donations to organizations that directly help the people in the community such as American Red Cross and others.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In one of their past anniversaries, Ronald McDonald, the famous mascot of the brand, visited Saipan to give children the opportunity to meet the character they\u2019ve only seen in commercials.<\/p>\n<p>McDonald\u2019s was also one of the businesses that offered aid when Typhoon Soudelor rampaged through the CNMI.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt shows a strong relationship with the community,\u201d said Joe Ayuyu Jr., general manager of McDonald\u2019s Middle Road. \u201cWithout the community\u2019s support, we won\u2019t be in business. We want to thank the community and the employees, because without them nothing really gets done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a separate message, Marcia Ayuyu said, \u201cOur vendors are important too us [as well] because when we need things like produce, our vendors help us and really go out of their way to provide us the goods that we need.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Joe Ayuyu, some of their employees have been with them for several years, with some reaching up to 20 years with the company.  <\/p>\n<p>Joyce Asistores is one of them. The current McDonald\u2019s Beach Road branch general manager, Asistores, together with Joe Ayuyu Jr., completed a business management course called the General Managers Business Leadership Capsstone at the Hamburger University in Chicago.<\/p>\n<p>Asistores, who completed the course early this year, started out from the bottom and has been with McDonald\u2019s for 22 years. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMcDonald\u2019s is really a world of opportunity,\u201d said Asistores. \u201cIf you work here and you have dedication and motivation, then it is [rewarded] and makes it possible to reach managerial positions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jason Salazar, a manager-in-training at the McDonald\u2019s Beach Road branch, was recently promoted to the managerial position and has been in training since March 12. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor those interested in working here, it\u2019s a really good job to [start your career].
