Munson disclosed yesterday that Imperial Pacific and Danny Ewing have entered an “irrevocable settlement.”

Munson presided over a telephonic conference regarding the settlement.

Attorney William Fitzgerald appeared with Ewing, a former Best Sunshine International Ltd.’s casino vice president of table games. Imperial Pacific counsel George Hasselback and representatives of Imperial were also present.

Hasselback earlier informed the court that his client, Imperial Pacific, is willing to settle with Ewing.

In his lawsuit, Ewing alleged that the casino management was engaging in illegal practices, among other things, when it allowed a customer to deposit $400,000 with the casino’s cashier without the required Anti-Money Laundering identification.

Imperial Pacific operates Best Sunshine Live, a casino and training platform, training casino workers to service its permanent casino, now being built in Garapan.

Ewing sued Imperial Pacific for wrongful termination, wrongful failure to hire, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
