(Erwin Encinares)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Docomo Pacific\u2019s Susupe branch opened its doors to the public on Thursday, promising an interactive experience for its customers.<\/p>\n<p>After operating in the CNMI for 15 year with one branch in Gualo Rai, the new branch in Susupe will bring a new experience to guests.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is more open, more welcoming, and more interactive,\u201d said Docomo Pacific chief executive officer and president Donald Kriegel.<\/p>\n<p>Once one enters the branch, a handful of the company\u2019s latest tech devices will greet you at the door, all of which are available to the public for use within the shop.<\/p>\n<p>Dino Manning, vice president and general manager for Docomo Pacific CNMI, said the store introduces an innovative concept that allows guests to interact with devices. \u201cYou can go in and touch everything and play with the devices on display.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou would be able to experience all of our services in the store itself,\u201d Manning added.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the new branch is to simulate ones living room. Manning said the absence of barriers is an invitation to customers to have a more personal transaction with the Docomo staff. It includes several exciting features:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Top 10 display: This display invites customers to discover the industry&#8217;s most advanced devices.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Customer service bays: Stations focused on providing individualized customer support.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Accessory panel display: Areas throughout the space that highlight the island\u2019s largest selection of mobile accessories.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 In-store charging station: A convenient, secure station that allows customers to rapidly charge their device.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p> \u201cThis is a new store built with a new concept. We would renovate our Gualo Rai store [similar] to this eventually,\u201c he said. The Gualo Rai store location will temporarily close on April 15 as it undergoes renovations. Upgrades will be completed in time for a reopening in early summer.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cOur new home in Susupe is our major investment to enhance customer experience. This is just the beginning of several initiatives planned this year as we enter into a new era of communications in the Marianas,\u201d added Manning.<\/p>\n<p>This year Docomo Pacific will complete the deployment of Atisa\u2014a new submarine fiber-optic cable system that will connect Guam with the CNMI offering new and sustainable online, TV, mobile and home phone services.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about the branch\u2019s new location, Manning said that Susupe is perfect because the new branch is located across long-time partner Joeten Inc.\u2019s Joeten Susupe, a high traffic area.<\/p>\n<p>Acting governor Victor B.
