(MVA)  \n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>The Philippines GMA Network will feature the Marianas on \u201cI-Witness,\u201d the country\u2019s longest running and most awarded TV program.<\/p>\n<p>Show host Jose Taruc III and a filming crew were on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota on March 22-30, 2017, to film two episodes, one highlighting the Marianas as a world-class eco-and sports tourism destination and the other retracing the remnants of World War II\u2019s largest operational air base on Tinian.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough our negotiation with the network, we enticed \u2018I-Witness\u2019 to the Marianas for two exciting stories that will reach millions of viewers in the Philippines and around the world, which is a tremendous exposure opportunity for us,\u201d said MVA managing director Christopher A. Concepcion. \u201cThis prestigious program is an excellent avenue for us to share some of the things that make the Marianas a world-class destination.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While on Saipan, the team filmed the Eagle Ray City dive site, Saipan Marathon 2017, Deepstar submarine tour of World War II wrecks, \u201cBest Beach &amp; Snorkeling\u201d award site Managaha, WWII and scenic tour of Saipan, an ATV tour, skydiving, Garapan Street Market, SandCastle Saipan dinner show, numerous Tinian WWII sites, and an interview with historian Don Farrell, plus many Rota historic sites and attractions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI-Witness\u201d has 2.5-milllion viewers in the Philippines and an additional 4 million viewers worldwide.
