She sang all kinds of pop love songs happy and sad. The poem is about a beautiful time in the city of Paris, France. April in Paris is a famous pop song. Flowers are blooming and love is in the air. A person is buying a ticket to hear Edith Piaf sing or a record by her. The seller says it is a pleasure for him to sell the Edith Piaf concert ticket or a recording by her.
