(Contributed Photo)\" src=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/imgupload\/issx9999ns120676.jpg\" width=\"100\" height=\"67\" border=\"0\" \/>\u00a0 To add to the impressive list of prizes already featured at the upcoming 17th Annual Tournament of Champions, Triple J Motors is donating a brand new 2013 Elantra as a hole-in-one prize.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Tournament of Champions is the premier golf tournament in the CNMI, and the funds raised from it benefit the entire community,\u201d said Triple J Motors general manager Randy Steele. \u201cWe are happy to be a part of this important event.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTriple J Motors&#8217; donation will be a great draw for golfers,\u201d said Ben Babauta, tournament director. \u201cWe are thankful for the company&#8217;s donation and commitment to the tournament all these years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 17th Annual Tournament of Champions will be played at LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort&#8217;s east and west courses on Aug. 4 and 5. The two-day event is bigger and better than ever with exciting hole-in-one prizes, and the chance to walk away with over thousands of dollars in possible prizes. The TOC tournament fee is $175.<\/p>\n<p>First place winners in the Men&#8217;s Championship, A, B, C, Senior, and Super Senior Flights will each receive $500 cash, $400 for second, $300 for third, a digital camera to fourth, and $100 DFS gift certificate for fifth place.<\/p>\n<p>The Ladies Low Gross champion will receive $500, $400 for second, and $300 for third place. The Ladies Low Net first through third places will receive a trophy.<\/p>\n<p>Over $300,000 worth of prizes is at stake in the two-day tournament, including hole-in-one prizes worth $50,000 on both the east and west courses courtesy of AON Insurance. Other hole-in-one prizes include two brand new cars from Joeten Motors and Microl Toyota.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Saipan Laolao Golf &amp; Resort is offering one year of free golf as another hole-in-one prize, while Delta Airlines is also contributing business class airfares to the U.S. mainland as yet an additional hole-in-one prize.<\/p>\n<p>Since its inception, TOC has given over $500,000 to the Saipan Beautification Fund, which has gone directly to the improvements of the tree-lined traffic medians that stretch from Garapan to the former Palm Resort Saipan, as well as the revitalization of the Garapan tourist district.
