In addition to having met the professional experience requirement, they passed the rigorous SHRM certification exam that assessed their knowledge, understanding of HR factual information and scenario-based situations, judgment, application, and decision-making skills.  <\/p>\n<p>San Nicolas is a Personnel Specialist IV at the Guam Community College.  She has 13 years of work experience in Human Resources and possesses a Master\u2019s degree in Business Administration from the United States University and a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources Management from the University of Guam.  <\/p>\n<p>Scott is a graduate of the Academy of Our Lady of Guam and is currently the Human Resources Assistant Manager at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort. She has over eight years of experience in the HR field, as well as a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Business Administration with a Human Resources Management Concentration from the University of Guam.  Prior to joining Dusit Thani Guam Resort, Scott worked at BankPacific where her passion for HR began.<\/p>\n<p>Salas is a UOG graduate with a Bachelors of Business Administration double concentration with Human Resources Management and International Tourism and Hospitality. A founding member of UOG\u2019s Entrepreneur Society, Salas is also published author, and on the U.S. National Dean\u2019s List in 2006 from Seattle University. Prior to joining the Guam Regional Medical City team as a Human Resources Business Partner, she served as an Insurance Agent and Office Manager. Salas is now focused on planning her upcoming wedding.  <\/p>\n<p>Rose Ayuyu Morales, SHRM Guam president shared, \u201cthe SHRM Guam Chapter is very proud of Guam\u2019s newest SHRM certified professionals.  The SHRM Guam Board set a goal to increase the number of certified professionals on Guam by facilitating the exam preparation course and providing incentives for Guam\u2019s HR professionals. Our certification efforts promote the HR profession and demonstrates the knowledge and expertise of Guam\u2019s HR professionals.
