The Commonwealth Lottery Commission extended several requests made by Imperial Pacific International (CNMI) LLC in yesterday\u2019s meeting attended by some IPI officials and employees of the lone casino licensee at the Governor\u2019s Office\u2019s conference room on Capital Hill.<\/p>\n

Extended where the deadlines of operations of the temporary casino\u2014the Best Sunshine Live facility at T Galleria\u2014and the construction and initial operations of the initial gaming facility, the Imperial Pacific Resort in Garapan.<\/p>\n
Best Sunshine Live\u2019s operation at T Galleria was about to end on April 30 and IPI is seeking to extend it to Oct. 31 of this year. Also extended was the Aug. 11 deadline of initial gaming facility\u2019s construction, which they are hoping to be moved to Feb. 11, 2018.<\/p>\n
The commission, chaired by CNMI Department of Commerce Secretary Mark O. Rabauliman, granted them a 14-month extension for both requests where IPI is expected to complete the project on Aug. 2018.<\/p>\n
The commission also suspended the schedule of deadlines of IPI\u2019s Phase I and II development in Marpi.<\/p>\n
