{"id":251320,"date":"2017-05-01T06:00:04","date_gmt":"2017-04-30T20:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=251320"},"modified":"2017-05-01T06:00:04","modified_gmt":"2017-04-30T20:00:04","slug":"tinian-dlnr-staff-arrested-allegedly-selling-ice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/tinian-dlnr-staff-arrested-allegedly-selling-ice\/","title":{"rendered":"Tinian DLNR staff arrested for allegedly selling \u2018ice\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An equipment operator of Tinian Department of Lands and Natural Resources was arrested on Friday morning for allegedly engaging in the sale of methamphetamine or \u201cice\u201d on the island. <\/p>\n<p>Tinian police served an arrest warrant on the 53-year-old Victor San Nicolas Shai at the DLNR office on charges of trafficking and illegal possession of controlled substance.<\/p>\n<p>At a hearing on Friday late afternoon, Superior Court Associate Judge Joseph N. Camacho imposed a $100,000 cash bail and set the preliminary hearing for May 28 at 9am.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant public defender Nancy Dominski was appointed as counsel for Shai. Assistant attorney general Jonathan Wilberscheid appeared for the government.<\/p>\n<p>Tinian Police Detective Peter H.
