From left, Ray Camacho, TOC committee member; Ben Babauta TOC tournament director; Jody Jordahl, Bridge Capital COO and vice president; and Joe Guerrero, Bridge Capital Business Development manager.\u00a0(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As part of its commitment to support local community groups and volunteer-driven projects, Bridge Capital, LLC has donated $5,000 to the organizers of the 22nd Governor\u2019s Tournament of Champions, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 27 and 28, 2017.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cFor more than 20 years, the Governor\u2019s Tournament of Champions has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for beautification and improvement projects that enhance the CNMI\u2019s reputation as a prime tourist destination,\u201d said Joe Guerrero, Bridge Capital Business Development manager. \u201cWe are excited to be a part of this year\u2019s tournament and wish all the players luck!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBridge Capital has been a strong community partner for many years, and we are extremely grateful for the company\u2019s generous contribution,\u201d said Ben Babauta, tournament director. \u201cThe company\u2019s donation will go a long way to ensure that this year\u2019s tournament is the most successful one to date.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 22nd Governor\u2019s Tournament of Champions will be played at the LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort\u2019s east and west courses on May 27 and 28. The two-day event is bigger and better than ever with exciting hole-in-one prizes and the chance to win thousands of dollars in possible prizes. The TOC tournament fee is $200.<\/p>\n<p>Winners in the Men\u2019s Championship, A, B, C, Senior and Super Senior flights will each receive $500, $400, $300, a digital camera, and $100 DFS gift certificate for the first to fifth place, respectively. The Ladies Low Gross winners will receive $500, $400, and $300 for first to third place, respectively. The first, second, and third place winners of the Ladies Low Net will each receive a trophy.<\/p>\n<p>Prizes worth hundreds of thousands of dollars will be at stake in the two-day tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Since its inception, TOC has turned over more than $800,000 to the Saipan Beautification Fund, which has gone to improvements like the tree-lined traffic medians that stretch from Garapan to Kensington Hotel, as well as the revitalization of the Garapan special district.
