(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>McDonald\u2019s Saipan has donated $3,000 to the Northern Marianas Athletics for the 13th consecutive time in support of the upcoming Public School System\/McDonald\u2019s All School Athletics Championship this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a good example of what partnerships with the community could really achieve. We are happy for the event,\u201d said McDonald\u2019s Middle Road branch manager Joe Ayuyu Jr.<\/p>\n<p>Ayuyu said McDonald\u2019s is happy to support events that serve as a good opportunity for students.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the last 13 years, McDonald\u2019s has been donating to the All Schools Track and Field and it is part of our strong commitment to kids and our community,\u201d said Ayuyu.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have to thank the NMA for helping to organize this, as well as the volunteers, families, and the participants because everybody needs the support,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>NMA president Ray Tebuteb said he is grateful and appreciative of McDonald\u2019s continued support for the event. He said the money would fund the refreshments of volunteers of the track and field event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor us, this is very powerful because for these kinds of events, most of our people are volunteers, so the most we can do for our people is buy them drinks,\u201d he said. \u201cWe would just really want to extend our profound appreciation and gratitude to McDonald\u2019s for helping us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Public School System\/McDonald\u2019s All School Athletics Championship is open to all of the schools in the CNMI\u2014both public and private\u2014and is open to students aged 7 to 18.<\/p>\n<p>Since the renovation of the Gilbert C.
