(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>To honor its continued commitment to the women\u2019s soccer program in the CNMI, Dove turned in a $10,000 check donation to the  Northern Mariana Islands Football Association last Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The $10,000 is part of the $30,000 sponsorship deal that Dove signed with NMIFA to help develop women\u2019s soccer in the CNMI.<\/p>\n<p>The donation turnover ceremony took place at the Chacha Oceanview Middle School Field during a break in the games in the 2017 Dove Women\u2019s Spring League. Marilyn Marron, regional sales manager of D&amp;Q Saipan, which distributes Dove products to the island, handed the ceremonial check to NMIFA Women\u2019s Committee chair Patricia Coleman.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe thank Dove for contributing to and investing in the health and vitality of women through the fostering of the NMIFA Women\u2019s Football\/Soccer League Program, which includes various soccer opportunities throughout the year. The donation from Dove helps support a program that builds team work, encourages diversity, and demands fair play in addition to providing opportunities for physical activities to girls and women of all ages and fitness levels in the CNMI,\u201d Coleman said.<\/p>\n<p>This season\u2019s Dove league features 15 teams divided into three divisions. Five teams competed in Division B, which had concluded its competition last week with Shirley\u2019s FC emerging as the champion. Division A has one more game next week, but Paire had already secured the Spring title after beating three other squads.
