Camacho on Friday for bail hearing for theft.<\/p>\n<p>A $5,000 cash bail was imposed. Preliminary hearing will be on May 18 at 9am.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant public defender Cindy Nesbit was appointed as counsel for Manglona. Chief Prosecutor Michelle Harris appeared for the government.<\/p>\n<p>Police detective Peter H. Palacios Jr. stated in his report that the incident was recorded by a surveillance camera at Huang Shun Poker.<\/p>\n<p>Palacios said Manglona confessed to grabbing money from the cashier\u2019s counter when he noticed there was no one in the booth.<\/p>\n<p>Manglona told police that he wanted to buy some things for his house and for his mother\u2019s birthday.<\/p>\n<p>Palacios said he and another police officer responded last Wednesday late afternoon to Huang Shun Poker, where a robbery was reported.<\/p>\n<p>Palacios said investigation showed that the cashier left the booth to buy napkins at Huang Shun Store.<\/p>\n<p>On her way back after five minutes, the cashier saw Manglona walking out from the poker establishment.<\/p>\n<p>Suspecting that something was wrong, the cashier checked the cashier\u2019s booth and noticed that the money she had left on the counter was gone.<\/p>\n<p>The cashier\u2019s superior later reviewed the surveillance camera and told the cashier to call the police.<\/p>\n<p>Palacios said he reviewed the footage and identified Manglona as the one who grabbed the money.<\/p>\n<p>Later that night, police arrested Manglona, who allegedly yielded $170 and a glass pipe. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 24-year-old man allegedly stole $546 from the cashier\u2019s booth of a Tinian poker arcade&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":23,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[16786,16787,16788,16789],"class_list":["post-252200","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-local-news","tag-gino-litulumar-manglona","tag-huang-shun-poker","tag-huang-shun-store","tag-palacios-jr"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/252200","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/23"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=252200"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/252200\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=252200"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=252200"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=252200"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
