(Contributed Photo)\n\n\n\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>With 44 students promoted to the next level, the Tinian Jr. Sr. High School held a ceremony yesterday at the school cafeteria to highlight the awards and achievements of its honor students.<\/p>\n<p>Clarence P. Rodriguez, who also received awards for academic excellence in math, science, social studies, and career technical education, led the Class of 2017 as valedictorian. <\/p>\n<p>In his speech, Rodriguez said his dreams of a good future motivates him to strive for the best, something that he wishes to share with his fellow graduates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGive school the best you\u2019ve got because education is one of the most valuable [keys] to success,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Salutatorian honoree Elvie Marie A. Dominguiano also received academic excellence awards in English language arts and Chamorro and Carolinian Language and Heritage Studies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBefore you quit, remember why you started,\u201d said Dominguiano in her speech. \u201cThat is exactly what you all have done\u2014you did not quit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Among the 44 promoted students, the Top 10 included Rodriguez, Dominguiano, Kiran Arthur M. Shrestha, Tasi Thomas G. Long, David Robert R. Mendiola, Anisha Juana C. Viches, Allen Joshua J. Morilla, Eddawn Loriel N. Labador, Axl Matias Ong, and Karen Joy O.
