It was truly a family fun-filled day as the event featured activities like free face painting, games, arts, puppet and dog show, a basketball exhibition game, and entertainment.<\/p>\n
The Saipan Southern High School JROTC Color Guard opened the event at 9am with the presentation of colors.<\/p>\n
A lot of performers provided entertainment to the crowd during the event that finished at 3pm.<\/p>\n
Debra Atalig Inos, the 20th Ayuda Network’s anniversary Family Fun Day chairwoman, said she was extremely elated and grateful to the outpouring community support.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe support is a clear testimony of Ayuda Network’s vision to foster communication, collaboration, cooperation, and coordination,\u201d Inos said.<\/p>\n
Inos said on behalf of the Ayuda Network’s Board of Directors, 20th Anniversary Family Fun Day Committee, and Ayuda Network management and staff, she would give special acknowledgement to the donors, entertainers, volunteers, government and non-profit organizations, and community leaders for their support and contribution to the event.<\/p>\n
\u201cThank you to our community for participating on today’s event. You all made this celebration a success,\u201d she said during an interview on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Among the entertainers were Maggie Naputi, Saipan Unity Lions Club Kids, Saipan Music and Dance Studio, Kodanka Warriors Dance Group, and Sole’dees Dance Group.<\/p>\n
Many went home with prizes as free raffle tickets were given to people who showed up at the event.<\/p>\n
Social services providers by government and non-profit organizations, and some private agencies showcased educational booths.<\/p>\n
Vendors offered a variety of food and snacks. The NMC Proa and the Division of Youth Services also played an exhibition basketball exhibition game at the Civic Center’s court.<\/p>\n
