Monroyo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The 2017 Dove Women\u2019s Spring League concluded last Sunday with the organizing Northern Mariana Islands Football Association honoring the top individual performers and outstanding teams in all three divisions at the Chacha Oceanview Middle School Field.<\/p>\n<p>NMIFA Executive Committee member Patricia Coleman handed the perpetual trophies to Division A champion Paire Football Club and Division B top finisher Shirley\u2019s Football Club. Paire prevailed against three other teams after posting an 8-1-1 win-draw-loss record in the three-round robin competition, while Shirley\u2019s earned a 6-1-1 slate in the double-round robin contest to take the division title against four other squads.<\/p>\n<p>In the Masters Division, TanHoldigs FC was awarded the Fair Play trophy, while MP United and MP United 2 brought home the Best in Uniform and Team Vibrant awards, respectively. Topnotch got the Best Tactical Team plum, while Matansa and Kanoa FC secured the Team Grit and Team Spirit awards.<\/p>\n<p>In the individual category, MP United-TanHoldings\u2019 Gillian Villagomez gained the Golden Boot award for scoring 11 goals in Division A, while Paire\u2019s Carla Ballesteros bagged the Golden Glove plum.<\/p>\n<p>In Division A, Shirley\u2019s Katherine Magat got the Golden Boot medal for recording six goals, while her teammate Irish Viray was named Golden Boot awardee.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCongratulations to all the winners and to all the players who participated in the league this season.
