The Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation will be hosting its 2017 Summer Program starting June 5 and is inviting parents to sign their children up. The theme for this year\u2019s program is Thankfulness, Empowerment, Respect, and Giving Back.<\/p>\n
The summer program will include presentations from local speakers, instructional teachings, various activities such as golf lessons at Laolao Bay Golf & Resort, beach cleaning, educational field trips to places like the Commonwealth Health Center, cultural lessons in crafts and history, and appreciation of Saipan’s underwater beauty and environment on a submarine trip. <\/p>\n
EVMF\u2019s 2017 Summer Program is a six-week program starting on June 5 and ending on July 14. <\/p>\n
There will be three groups of 30 students. The first group will consist of children from the northern part of the Commonwealth. The program for this batch starts on June 5 to June 15. <\/p>\n
The second group will consist of children from the central part of the island and will be from June 19 to June 29. <\/p>\n
The third group will consist of children from the southern area of Saipan and will start on July 3 and end on July 13. <\/p>\n
Orientation for the north batch of students will be on June 2, for the central batch on June 16, and for the southern batch on June 30. <\/p>\n
The program is free, courtesy of proceeds from the 2017 Hyatt Classic Golf Tournament. The foundation would also like to thank Hertz Rent-a-Car for its support with transportation.<\/p>\n
