(Erwin Encinares)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon '>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/gca-seniors-go-separate-ways-college\/minna-m-ito\/'>Minna-M.-Ito<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<figcaption class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-253325'>\n\t\t\t\tIto\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>The 19 graduates of Grace Christian Academy have gone their separate ways after their graduation last May 26 at the school campus, but most have fond memories of their time together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have grown up with these people for four years and it is just [amazing] how\u2026we\u2019ve grown as a class,\u201d said class valedictorian Minna Natsuko M. Ito. \u201cI would cherish all of the memories that we\u2019ve made [as a class].\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She said she feels overwhelmed by the thought that she would soon be leaving the island for her education. <\/p>\n<p>Ito plans to go to the Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, where she will major in speech methodology with emphasis on those with autism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI plan to come back to the island. That is my current plan as of now,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>If, for some reason her plans change, she would like to work in Chicago, since that is where the university is located.<\/p>\n<p>Salutatorian Francis Joseph E. Dalusung, who plans to attend a community college in California, said he doesn\u2019t want to rush.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI plan to take general education at first and when I find something I am passionate about, I will transfer to a bigger college,\u201d he said, adding that residency in California may assist him financially in the future.<\/p>\n<p>For now, Dalusung would be attending Cyprus College in Orange County.<\/p>\n<p>Dalusung, besides being a former Math Court regional qualifier, is also a national academic championship team member with Ito and would be competing in Washington, D.C. this June 2-4.
