(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Triple J team 3J4Life partnered with ChaCha Middle School for this year\u2019s 15th Marianas March Against Cancer, raising a total of $17,208.42. This is the second year that Triple J has participated as a team and the third year for ChaCha. The team theme was \u201cSurvivor,\u201d with the tent and baton decorations symbolizing \u201cSurvivor Island,\u201d complete with natural materials and an entire island of sand in the middle of tent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were so excited to partner with a school this year and really worked together to make this the best MMAC event yet for Triple J,\u201d said Iliana Pacheco, marketing manager for Triple J. \u201cThe ChaCha staff, teachers, and administrators, as well as the [children], were amazing to work with. Cancer touches us all and we wanted our tent to be a beacon and symbol of survival.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Leading up to the event, Triple J had multiple fundraisers, including donating a dollar for every ice tea sold at Tony Roma\u2019s, Truong\u2019s, Capricciosa, and Surf Club, as well as donating a dollar for every speckled lemonade sold at Bubba Gump. They also hosted Nathan\u2019s Famous hotdog fundraisers at the Little League games and collection boxes at the Triple J Truckload Store.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur chairman and CEO, Robert H. Jones, and his wife, Margaret Jones, really hold this event close to their hearts. Margaret is a cancer survivor and the Jones family is honored to support the CCA and their efforts to make Saipan cancer-free,\u201d said Tracy Guerrero, Triple J controller.<\/p>\n<p>Despite a power outage in the early morning hours, 3J4Life and ChaCha team continued to run laps and took home a participation appreciation plaque after the event.<\/p>\n<p>Triple J Enterprises Inc. has existed for over three decades.
