Her bail was set at $20,000 cash; preliminary hearing is on June 8 at 9am. Assistant public defender Cindy Nesbit was appointed as counsel for Salinas.

Assistant attorney general Teri Tenorio told the court that they are going to consolidate Salinas’ case with that of her co-defendant, Laarad Aldan Ramangmou.

Ramangmou, 22, was arrested last Monday on the same charges. She has allegedly confessed and identified Salinas as her partner in crime. She has been in detention for failing to post a $20,000 cash bail.

The incident was caught on camera.

According to police detective Daniel T. Joab, a police officer was dispatched last May 22 to Blue Hill Apartment on Navy Hill, where some rooms had been burglarized.

A woman, who was among the victims, told the responding officer that when she woke up a day before, May 21, she noticed that her yellow bag was missing some items.

The following day, the woman said, she noticed that even her guitar, which was in a case, was also gone.

When she asked her roommates about her missing items, she found out that they also lost some items.

Police said aside from the guitar, the woman lost dresses, shoes, shirts, sunglasses, identification cards, and bags, all worth $900.

Police learned that also stolen from other victims were cellphones, a laptop, passport, wallet, identification cards, $5,900 worth of Chinese currency, and $510 cash. The report did not indicate how many were victimized.

Police then reviewed the apartment’s surveillance footage and identified Salinas and Ramangmou as the persons who allegedly burglarized the rooms.

Police arrested on Tuesday morning the second of two women who allegedly ransacked some rooms…

[4
4710,17022,1784,15490
post-253529","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-local-news","tag-cindy-nesbit","tag-laarad-aldan-ramangmou","tag-navy-hill","tag-teri-tenorio
["GET
