(MVA)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>The Marianas Visitors Authority recently joined the B2B event \u201cTravel to America\u201d organized by the U.S. Embassy in Moscow and U.S. Consulate General in Vladivostok, Russia.<\/p>\n<p>The event provided the MVA the opportunity to increase awareness of the Marianas in the travel trade and media community, to announce new developments to travel partners, and to build new business ties with participants.<\/p>\n<p>The event was held on May 18, 2017, at the general ambassador\u2019s residence along with the Guam Visitors Bureau, American Airlines, and Visit Anchorage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe \u2018Travel to America\u2019 was a great opportunity for the MVA meet personally with guests, answer their questions about travel to the Marianas, and distributed brochures and guidebooks about the islands,\u201d said MVA managing director Christopher A. Concepcion.  \u201cAccording to our MVA team in Russia, guests showed strong interest in the Marianas.  It was also an opportunity to meet with some key players in Far East Russia that could play a role in helping to revive the market.\u201d  <\/p>\n<p>Over 50 representatives of travel agencies, tour operators, airlines and airport representatives, media and other companies of Vladivostok attended.
