(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Throughout the month of May, Tony Roma\u2019s Saipan participated in the Make-A-Wish appetizer card promotion, with half of the proceeds going directly to the foundation. Locations in Guam and Florida also participated. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis fundraising promotion was a no-brainer to help [children] in need,\u201d said Tony Roma\u2019s Saipan general manager Atsushi Aoki. \u201cWe are so happy to participate and raise funds for this incredible foundation,\u201d <\/p>\n<p>He noted that many patrons were excited to be a part of raising money for Make-A-Wish. <\/p>\n<p>Tens of thousands of volunteers, donors, and supporters advance the Make-A-Wish vision to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. In the United States and its territories, on average, a wish is granted every 34 minutes. The Make-A-Wish Foundation first began in 1980 and has raised millions of dollars over the past 37 years. <\/p>\n<p>Eleanor T. Cabrera, CNMI member of the Make-A-Wish board, said, \u201cOn behalf of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Guam &amp; CNMI, I thank Tony Roma\u2019s Saipan and the Triple J family for their donation. Our foundation serves Guam and the CNMI by granting wishes of medically eligible children who are between the ages of 2-1\/2 and 18.
