{"id":255714,"date":"2017-07-06T06:00:54","date_gmt":"2017-07-05T20:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=255714"},"modified":"2017-07-06T06:00:54","modified_gmt":"2017-07-05T20:00:54","slug":"15-million-made-available-ease-job-hopes-disabilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/15-million-made-available-ease-job-hopes-disabilities\/","title":{"rendered":"$15 million made available to ease job hopes of those with disabilities \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>WASHINGTON<\/strong>\u2014The U.S. Department of Labor made available yesterday about $15 million in grants for state workforce agencies to develop flexible and innovative strategies to increase the participation of people with disabilities in federally funded employment and training programs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The grants available are the eighth round of funding in the\u00a0Disability Employment Initiative, a joint program of the department\u2019sEmployment and Training Administration\u00a0and the\u00a0Office of Disability Employment Policy.
