Won Pat International Airport in Guam.<\/p>\n<p>With 13 flights a week between Guam and Manila, United offers the most direct flights between the two destinations. Each week, United operates 11 nonstop flights and two one-stop flights via Palau between Guam and Manila.<\/p>\n<p>United is the only carrier in Guam that offers a Medical Transport Program from Guam to Manila, where many island residents seek medical treatment. The program allows passengers to be transported on stretchers.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to providing the critical service for those seeking health care, United helps the large Filipino community in Guam visit family and friends in the Philippines. Nearly 43,000 Filipinos live in Guam, making up more than a fourth of the island\u2019s population, according to the CIA World Factbook.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cAs Guam\u2019s hometown airline, United is proud to mark 35 years of nonstop flights connecting Guam and the Philippines,\u201d said Sam Shinohara, United\u2019s managing director of operations Asia\/Pacific. \u201cUnited\u2019s Medical Transport Program is very important to our island community as many Guam residents seek a wide range of health care services in Manila.
