The exam tests the knowledge, skills, and abilities of nursing graduates in order to certify that they are equipped with the capability to apply entry level nursing practices correctly.<\/p>\n<p>NMC president Dr. Carmen Fernandez said, \u201cThe list of NMC nursing graduates who are passing the NCLEX exam continues to grow! We want to congratulate YuGeun and Gemmilie on becoming the latest graduates to pass this difficult exam and look forward to hearing more about their success as medical professionals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rosa Tudela, chairperson of NMC\u2019s Nursing Department, said, \u201cOn behalf of our nursing faculty\u2014Mr. Aldan, Mrs. Oneto and myself\u2014I want to offer our sincere congratulations to YuGeun and Gemmilie for passing the NCLEX-RN exam on their first try! We are so proud of your recent accomplishments and wish you all the best in the many opportunities open to you in your nursing career. It is our hope that you go on to advance your nursing education and give back to our community your selfless service of care and devotion. We are confident that you are ready to meet any challenges before you and do your very best.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>YuGeun Oh said he never thought he would pursue nursing as an ultimate career in his life. But, he said, he saw nurses working so hard to save people\u2019s lives and that fascinated him. From that moment on, he decided to become a nurse and be a part of the healthcare system.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cThe NMC Nursing Program has helped me to fulfill my goal of becoming a nurse and helping people,\u201d Oh said.<\/p>\n<p>Eugenio said the support from her parents and friends helped her focus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI chose to pursue the nursing degree because it\u2019s something that is stable.
