Camacho has found no probable cause to charge a registered sex offender for failing to update his information with the Sex Offender Registry Unit. <\/p>\n<p>At a preliminary hearing in the case against Alvin P. Lizama last week, Camacho determined that there is no probable cause to believe that crimes were committed<\/p>\n<p>The charges against the 34-year-old Lizama were later dismissed. That means  the government may re-file the case in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant attorney general Jonathan Glass Jr. called to the witness stand the officer in charge of the case.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant public defender Nancy Dominski served as counsel for Lizama.<\/p>\n<p>According to police, Lizama failed to notify the Sex Offender Registry Unit when he left Tinian to come to Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>Lizama, however, explained that he did not notify Tinian and Saipan Sex Offender Registry Units because he was not planning to stay on Saipan. He said, he however, found a job on Saipan. <\/p>\n<p>Lizama pleaded guilty to sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree in 2013. He served prison term and was granted parole and subsequently released on Dec. 15, 2014, according to court records.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Superior Court Associate Judge Joseph N.
