A. Masters\u2019 gallant stand, hammering out a 20-19 decision to remain undefeated in the 2017 Belau Masters Softball League yesterday at the Dandan Softball Field.<\/p>\n<p>Brotherhood remained undefeated after nine games, while the S.A. Masters dropped to 4-5 behind second-running Peleliu (8-1), Momma Charo (6-3), and Karui (5-4).<\/p>\n<p>The Masters, holding on to a 19-17 lead after 7 1\/2 innings, only needed three outs in the bottom of the eighth in order to hand the Brotherhood their first loss.<\/p>\n<p>Bill Camacho\u2019s two-run home run tied the game and Jack Diaz scored the walk-off run on a Julian Camacho single to complete Brotherhood\u2019s come-from-behind win.<\/p>\n<p>Bill Camacho, who walked in his first plate appearance, homered twice going 3-of-4 with three runs and four RBIs, while Julian Camacho, 3-of-4, also homered and scored thrice with three RBIs.<\/p>\n<p>Peleliu also had the same result against Sufa, 20-19, with Russell Kintaro and Mabel Ngirngemelas blasting a homer each.<\/p>\n<p>Peleliu was also trailing Sufa (2-7) at 19-16 in the bottom of the eighth.<\/p>\n<p>Dominic Hideo singled and reached home, together with Charles Kenty, who also singled, on back-to-back errors by Sufa to cut the deficit to 19-18.<\/p>\n<p>Kintaro\u2019s solo homer tied the count and Ngirngemelas\u2019 solo blast had Peleliu celebrating with the victory.<\/p>\n<p>Mommy Charu handed Karui its fourth loss in nine games following a 13-6 decision in the other game.<\/p>\n<p>A five-run seventh and Leo Bobai\u2019s performance at the plate in the bottom of the inning sealed Mommy Charu\u2019s victory.<\/p>\n<p>Bobai, after giving up a single, retired the next three batters he faced\u2014a strikeout, infield fly, and a line drive\u2014to end the game.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brotherhood survived the S.
