The Marianas High School Class of 1987 will be having its 30th-year class reunion on Sept. 23.<\/p>\n
The reunion is open to any CNMI Class of 1987 graduate, regardless of which high school they graduated from. <\/p>\n
A Mass in honor of departed classmates will be held at the San Antonio Church on Sept. 23, 2017, at 4pm. The reunion will follow immediately after the Mass, from 5:30pm to 10pm, at the Surf Club (beach side) in Chalan Kanoa, the former Pacific Gardenia Sunset Bar and Grill. <\/p>\n
\u201cAs we approach our 30th year since graduating, the MHS Class of 1987 organizers decided to open up the celebration to other fellow CNMI 1987 alumni. We look forward to catching up, reminiscing, and creating new memories together,\u201d said Dave \u201cDoc\u201d Maratita, president of the MHS Class of \u201987 non-profit organization. <\/p>\n
Tickets are available for purchase at $30 per person, which covers both food and corkage fee. <\/p>\n
\u201cTicket sales are by no means a fundraiser but to keep count of the number of attendees. Except for iced tea, drinks are not included in the ticket. Everyone is asked to bring their own beverage for the evening. The venue will be a luau-type setting and everyone is encouraged to come dressed in beach-appropriate \u201980s wear or islandwear,\u201d added Maratita. <\/p>\n
