{"id":258649,"date":"2017-08-23T06:03:06","date_gmt":"2017-08-22T20:03:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=258649"},"modified":"2017-08-23T06:03:06","modified_gmt":"2017-08-22T20:03:06","slug":"aging-center-enhances-facilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/aging-center-enhances-facilities\/","title":{"rendered":"Aging Center enhances facilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Congregants of the Aging Center will be pleasantly surprised once they check out the center\u2019s enhanced facilities, according to Office on Aging director Walter Manglona.<\/p>\n<p>Renovations and enhancements have been made to the center throughout the week and enhancements are still being made with the additional equipment that were donated to the man\u2019amko. <\/p>\n<p>Among the enhancement are a surround sound system in the main hall of the facility, a computerized bingo system, a brand new table for table tennis, a library, a new karaoke system and television, a computer station, and many more. <\/p>\n<p>According to Manglona, the enhancements were intended to give back to the man\u2019amko for all their years of service. They also keep the man\u2019amko energized and active. <\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the new features would encourage more man\u2019amko to keep visiting the center and mingling with their peers.<\/p>\n<p>According to Manglona, senior citizens oftentimes keep to themselves because there aren\u2019t much people to talk to at home.
