(Contributed Photo)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>The Tasha\u2019s Str8 Black Ball will try to stop three other teams\u2019 attempt to derail their title bid as the Saipan Billiards Association Open 8-Ball Tuesday League enters its last two weeks of matches.<\/p>\n<p>Str8 Black Ball holds a slim 130-91 edge over the 9 Eleven Domoco Hustlers (129-92) with the 9 Eleven Titans (122-99) and the Chow Time Blue Haus Destroyers (120-101) not far behind.<\/p>\n<p>Tasha\u2019s Crazy 8 (86-135) and Chow Time Assassins (76-145) are the other competing teams in the said division.<\/p>\n<p>The Black Ball was playing the Titans, while the Hustlers were challenging the Crazy 8 and the Destroyers taking on the Assassins. Results were not yet available at press time.<\/p>\n<p>The Str8 Black Ball, third placers before last week\u2019s games, jumped to the lead after a 13-0 blanking of the Assassins on Aug. 15. The Tuesday League\u2019s last two play dates are Aug. 29 and Sept. 5.<\/p>\n<p>Mervin Sahagun, Jeff Gayas, Rey Hermogenes, Oliver Gragasin, and Orly Tibus proved to be no match as they blasted the Assassins\u2019 John Reyes, Chris Camacho, Julian Reyes, and Randy Sablan.<\/p>\n<p>The Hustlers, not to be outdone, completed a masterful 10-3 triumph against the Titans to remain in the shadows of the new leaders. Crazy 8 defeated the Destroyers, 8-7, in the other match.<\/p>\n<p>In the Thursday League, the 9 Eleven Titans II coasted to a 10-3 decision against the Tasha\u2019s Extreme, while the 9 Eleven Jam Shooters scored a 9-4 win over the Chow Time Blue Haus Homeboyz.<\/p>\n<p>The Tasha\u2019s Wild Bill\u2019s also downed the Sands Team SCS, 9-4, and the Chow Time 8-Black Ball defeated the 9 Eleven MJD Warriors, 8-5, in the other matches.<\/p>\n<p>The Black Ball\u2019s win upped their record to 136-85 followed by the Warriors\u2019 130-91 record. The Titans II is in third place with a 126-95 card, while the Wild Bill\u2019s are in fourth (118-103).<\/p>\n<p>Team SCS (112-109), Homeboyz (91-130), Jam Shooters (89-132), and the Extreme (82-139) complete the standings.
