{"id":259011,"date":"2017-08-29T06:06:23","date_gmt":"2017-08-28T20:06:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=259011"},"modified":"2017-08-29T06:06:23","modified_gmt":"2017-08-28T20:06:23","slug":"tinian-mayors-office-launches-new-facebook-page","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/tinian-mayors-office-launches-new-facebook-page\/","title":{"rendered":"Tinian Mayor\u2019s Office launches new Facebook page"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tinian Mayor Joey Patrick San Nicolas is inviting all Tinian residents, both on-island and abroad, to \u201cLike\u201d and follow the Tinian Mayor\u2019s Office\u2019s new Facebook page.<\/p>\n<p>The new Facebook page can be found at https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/tinianmayor96952.<\/p>\n<p>The new page\u2014titled \u201cOffice of the Mayor of Tinian and Aguiguan\u201d\u2014was created and will be managed by the Tinian Mayor\u2019s Office\u2019s Public Information Office. <\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the Facebook page is to disseminate photos and videos of local fiestas, holiday festivities, public hearings, training workshops, and other community events. <\/p>\n<p>Followers of the page should also expect to see the timely publication of public service announcements such as press releases, event announcements, bid announcements, weather updates, and job vacancy announcements, among others.<\/p>\n<p>Followers will be able to interact with page posts and send messages directly to the Public Information Office staff. Messages typically receive a response within 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Public Information Office staff are currently working diligently to transfer all files from the old Facebook page\u2014\u2018\u201cTinian Mayor\u2019s Office\u201d \u2014to the new page. This should not, however, disrupt the timeliness of new posts.
