They are six wins ahead of the 9 Eleven MJD Warriors (138-96) heading to their Thursday match up against Tasha’s Wild Bills (126-108).

The last three weeks could make or break the Black Ball and Warriors’ hopes of clinching the league crown. Both teams are hoping to clinch the most number of wins in their last three matches against different squads.

The Warriors’ final schedule will be against lowly Tasha’s Extreme (86-148) tomorrow, the Chow Time Blue Haus Homeboyz (100-134) on Sept. 7, and lastly the 9 Eleven Titans II (131-103) on Sept. 14.

The Black Ball, after facing the Wild Bill’s tomorrow, will take on the Titans II on Sept. 7 and the 9 Eleven Jam Shooters (94-140) on Sept. 14.

The Black Ball upped their win count to 146 after a masterful 10-3 decision against the Sands Team SCS (115-119), the eighth team competing in the league, in their last game on Aug. 24.

The quintet of Mervin Sahagun, Jeff Gayas, Rey Hermogenes, Oliver Gragasin, and Orly Tibus showed Teams SCS’ Rowel Mariano, Toto Bigcas, Bryan Fabre, and Jerry Tiu why they are the current leaders of the weekly Thursday League.

Gayas, Sahagun, and Gragasin, however, dropped two Singles and one Partner’s 8-Ball matches against Bigcas and Mariano of Team SCS.

The Warriors could have inched closer to Black Ball’s won-loss record but could only manage an 8-5 triumph over the Jam Shooters also in last week’s matches. The Homeboyz, meanwhile, scored a 9-4 victory against the Extreme, while Wild Bill’s defeated Titans II, 8-5.

Tomorrow’s other games will have the Homeboyz hosting the Titans II, while the Jam Shooters take on Team SCS in separate venues on the island.

[5
18110,18111,18112,2285
post-259143","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sports","tag-black-ball","tag-bryan-fabre","tag-orly-tibus","tag-wild-bills
["GET
