{"id":260095,"date":"2017-09-12T06:06:52","date_gmt":"2017-09-11T20:06:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=260095"},"modified":"2017-09-12T06:06:52","modified_gmt":"2017-09-11T20:06:52","slug":"man-31-allegedly-sexually-abused-minor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/man-31-allegedly-sexually-abused-minor\/","title":{"rendered":"Man, 31, allegedly sexually abused a minor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police arrested on Thursday a 31-year-old man who allegedly sexually abused a 17-year-old girl on Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>Joseph Laniyo Lisua was taken to the Superior Court yesterday for a bail hearing on charges of sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree and disturbing the peace.<\/p>\n<p>A $15,000 cash bail was imposed on Lisua; preliminary hearing will be on Sept. 20 at 9am.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant public defender Jamal Saleh was appointed as counsel for Lisua. Assistant attorney general Teri Tenorio is prosecuting the case.<\/p>\n<p>A police officer responded to a report of sexual abuse of a minor on Thursday at 4:19pm. The officer met with the woman who called the police.
