{"id":260329,"date":"2017-09-14T06:06:44","date_gmt":"2017-09-13T20:06:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=260329"},"modified":"2017-09-14T06:06:44","modified_gmt":"2017-09-13T20:06:44","slug":"new-judge-bogdan-holds-first-hearing-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/new-judge-bogdan-holds-first-hearing-today\/","title":{"rendered":"New judge Bogdan holds first hearing today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New Superior Court Associate Judge Wesley Bogdan will conduct his first hearing today, Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>Saipan Tribune learned that Bogdan will preside over several change of plea hearings in traffic cases at 1:30pm.<\/p>\n<p>Presiding Judge Robert C. Naraja was the original judge assigned to handle those traffic cases.<\/p>\n<p>Bogdan came to work for the first time last Sept. 1, in which he sat next to Associate Judge Joseph N. Camacho during hearing.<\/p>\n<p>The Senate approved Bogdan\u2019s appointment as associate judge last Aug. 10.<\/p>\n<p>Bogdan takes over the position of David A. Wiseman, who retired as an associate judge in May 2016. Gov. Ralph DLG Torres appointed Bogdan a year later.<\/p>\n<p>Bogdan\u2019s investiture at the CNMI Supreme Court will be in November 2017. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Superior Court Associate Judge Wesley Bogdan will conduct his first hearing today, Thursday.
