{"id":260677,"date":"2017-09-20T06:00:46","date_gmt":"2017-09-19T20:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=260677"},"modified":"2017-09-20T06:00:46","modified_gmt":"2017-09-19T20:00:46","slug":"another-nmc-graduate-passes-nclex","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/another-nmc-graduate-passes-nclex\/","title":{"rendered":"Another NMC graduate passes NCLEX"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_260683\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-260683\" style=\"width: 261px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Judith-Galang-Diaz-NMC-.jpg-261x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"261\" height=\"300\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-260683\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-260683\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Diaz<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Another Northern Marianas College graduate has joined the list of students who have passed the challenging National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses or NCLEX-RN. <\/p>\n<p>Judith Galang Diaz, who graduated from NMC last May, recently took the exam and passed on her first attempt.<\/p>\n<p>The NCLEX-RN tests individuals\u2019 nursing knowledge, skills, and abilities essential to the safe and effective practice of nursing at the entry level. The exam is used by nursing boards in all U.S. states and territories to award nursing licenses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are extremely proud of Judith\u2019s accomplishment as well as the other nursing students who have been able to reach this important milestone of passing the NCLEX,\u201d said NMC president Dr. Carmen Fernandez.<\/p>\n<p>Recent NMC graduates who have also passed the NCLEX include Mika Sablan, Lovely Lopez, Gemmilie Eugenio, YuGeun Oh, Michael Hidalgo, Joy Waldo, and Joshua Tanghal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJudith has a bright future in the nursing field and we expect to see great things from her as her educational and professional journey continues,\u201d said NMC Nursing Department chair Rosa M. Tudela. \u201cWe wish her the best on her future career in health care.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI chose to pursue my nursing degree to help people and care for them in times of need,\u201d said Diaz. \u201cAlso, I do believe that with this degree there is a big potential to make a difference in many lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNMC has enhanced my knowledge, skills and abilities to be able to get my degree and pass the NCLEX,\u201d Diaz said.<\/p>\n<p>If there is any advice Diaz could give other students who are also preparing to take the NCLEX, it would be to \u201cstudy hard, focus and manage your time efficiently.
