Monroyo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Kanoa Football Club-2 was perfect in the opening week of the 2017 Dove Women\u2019s Fall Futsal League, getting a pair of wins at the TSL Sports Complex.<\/p>\n<p>Kanoa FC-2 first crushed the CNMI U16 Developmental Team last Monday, 13-1, and then topped Shirley\u2019s FC last Wednesday, 5-2, to take the early lead in the five-team field of Division A.  Paire FC and Kanoa FC-1 are the other squads entered in the group.<\/p>\n<p>Krizel Tuason combined for five goals in Kanoa FC-1\u2019s two victories, while Britanny Wally contributed four. Chloe Salvosa and Janelle Chognaki added three and two goals, respectively, to give Kanoa FC-2 a rousing start this season. <\/p>\n<p>In other results in Division A, Paire Football Club also booked an easy debut win last week after hammering Kanoa FC-1, 9-3.<\/p>\n<p>Guine Borja powered Paire to the lopsided triumph after firing six goals. Jerlyn Castillo was the second player to score in Paire\u2019s debut win after making a hat trick, while Kanoa FC-1 got two of its three goals from Paulynn Joyce.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in Division B, only two matches were played in the opening week with Shirley\u2019s FC and Paire FC defeating their respective opponents.<\/p>\n<p>In the first game, Paire shut down Kanoa, 5-0. Anisa Villagomez knocked in a pair of goals for Paire, which drew one apiece from Erin Frink, Aaliyah Indalecio, and Nadia Murphy.<\/p>\n<p>In the second match, Shirley\u2019s also blanked its foe MYPros, 2-0. Marilou Arriola and Stephanie Lumbad recorded one goal each for the winning squad.<\/p>\n<p>Shirley\u2019s will try to go for victory No. 2 in Division B when it plays KFC tonight at 8:30pm. Two more matches will take place today with MYPros battling Paire in the first tiff at 6:30pm and Kanoa-1 dueling Shirley\u2019s in the Division A game at 7:30pm.<\/p>\n<p>In related stories, the 2017 Dove Women\u2019s Masters Fall League kicked off yesterday at the Francisco M.
