According to a Saipan Tribune article, plaintiff\u2019s attorney Matthew Gregory alleged that \u201cunreasonable delay in shipping the containers was not due to bad weather but rather plaintiffs. It was to ensure full barges to maximize Saipan Shipping\u2019s profits to the detriment of plaintiffs.\u201d This matter has been settled but Saipan Shipping wishes to clarify that as a business it has an interest in profits but it is also very aware of the responsibilities it assumes when it commits to perform a service. This service matters and that the company performs this service well is important as well.
