Borja earlier fired six goals in their season-debut win over Kanoa-1, 9-3. Borja got enough support from her teammates with Jeraldine Castillo and Lyka Sally chipping in two goals each, and Jerlyn Castillo contributing one. Therize Millare posted the pair of goals for the U16 Developmental Team, which fell to a 0-0-2 win-draw-loss record.

In other results in Division A, Kanoa-1 recovered from its opening week loss with a 6-2 victory over Shirley’s Football Club (0-0-3) last Monday.

Jeralyn Castillo powered Kanoa-1 to the easy win as she registered five goals, more than doubling their opponent’s total. Jeralyn scored her first in the sixth minute and the last four in the 28th, 32nd, 38th, and 39th. Paulyn Joyce posted the other goal for Kanoa-1, finding the back of the net in the eight minute.

Mia Carreon and De Jana Muna tallied the two goals for Shirley’s with the former lighting up the board in the second minute and the latter following suit two minutes later.

In Division B, Paire slipped past the then unbeaten Shirley’s last Wednesday, 1-0. Miles River scored the lone goal in the match in the 38th minute to hand Shirley’s its first loss in three games.

The close win over Shirley’s allowed Paire to recover from a 1-2 defeat at the hands of MyPros last Monday. MyPros broke into the win column, thanks to Natalie Hill’s go-ahead goal in the 16th minute. Four minutes earlier, Samantha Babauta put MyPros on the board and equalized the match. Before Babauta’s game-tying goal, River found her target in the second minute to give Paire the shaky lead.

Paire Football Club outclassed the U16 Developmental Team, 8-2, during their Division A game in…

[5
2722,18492,18493,18494
post-261361","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sports","tag-dove-women","tag-fall-futsal-league","tag-kanoa-football-club-2","tag-u16-developmental-team
["GET
