Saleh\u2019s cellphone was at 9am last Tuesday, Oct. 3, according to sources.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the 49-year-old Saleh apparently could not sleep and went for a walk at 1:30am that same day, Oct. 3.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, police said that Saleh\u2019s friend had been texting him but got no reply.<\/p>\n<p>Police responded at 11:36am last Oct. 3 to a complaint that Saleh, of the Office of the Public Defender, had been missing from his As Teo residence.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Public Safety released information to the media the following day, Oct. 4, that Saleh was missing. <\/p>\n<p>Sources said that Saleh had a cellphone and that the cell tower signal points to the phone being on Saipan\u2019s eastern side.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why the police conducted the search in As Teo, Kagman, Laulau Beach, and San Vicente last Thursday, Friday, and Monday. <\/p>\n<p>Sources also disclosed yesterday that no family member of Saleh has yet to inquire with DPS about his disappearance.<\/p>\n<p>Saleh, assistant public defender at the OPD, has Arab\/Indian native features. He and his girlfriend, assistant public defender Shoshanah Epstein, arrived on Saipan from New Mexico last May to work at the OPD. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The last signal from missing lawyer Jamal A.
